September 2011 — "I have never taken Simple Simon’s up on the offer to provide me with an easy, hassle free dinner, but one of these times I’m going to! With a stand in the Calgary Farmer’s Market, Simple Simon’s has tons of different choices to choose from…..all of them delicious! You can take them away frozen or eat them hot and ready right there! They have individual sized pies ranging from classics such as chicken pot pie and beef and chicken shepherd’s pie all the way up to pies for the adventurous such as shrimp pie, Jamaican jerk and chicken curry! If you visit their counter at the Farmer’s Market, they will let you taste a bit of any pie you like. And I haven’t even mentioned the vast array of fruit pies they make for dessert! Each pie is packed full of tasty ingredients and for a price of just under $4 a pie, you can’t go wrong. "

September 2011 — "If you have never had Simple Simon Pies at the Calgary Farmer's Market, you absolutely have to give them a try. It is a welcome relief amongst all the overpriced food vendors at the Farmer's Market. They sell small, individual sized pies in both sweet and savory flavors. You can find something to suit every taste. You can buy them frozen to take away by the dozen or you can also get them hot right there to eat. At about $3.00 a pie, you really can't go wrong. They are super flavorful and delicious and are great to make at home. If you go to their counter at the Farmer's Market, you never wait in line because they have tons of staff. You can try a small sample of as many kinds of pie you that would like! My personal favorite is the mushroom chicken swiss. Definitely a great value! "
