June 2011 — "Tazza Grill is a small restaurant in Bridgeland. The food was fresh and authentic - this is not a fast food donair place! We tried the beef shawarma, a spinach & feta pastry and of course some baklava! The beef shawarma was good, and you get to choose from a variety of toppings. One thing that I did notice was that compared to other shawarmas that I have had, this one was more acidic? vinegary? possibly due to the toppings, maybe some of them are marinated. The spinach & feta pastry was good, but also had that same slight acidic taste. The baklava was great! They have a selection to choose from. The service was good as this is a family owned business. I also noticed that they have an espresso machine, I will have to try one next time with my baklava. The pricing is reasonable, and with such a wide variety to choose from, I will definitely be back! December 2008 — "Tazza is a Mediterranean-style deli located in the trendy community of Bridgeland. Whenever I go to Tazza I usually order take-out rather than dine at the restaurant. It’s a really cute little deli, but there are only a few tables inside, except during the summer when they have a nice patio with several tables. A wide variety of items are available at Tazza, including donairs, shawarmas, Greek salad, grape leaves and more. Pretty much every time I visit this deli I get the chicken Shishtawok platter, which consists of Greek salad, hummous and shredded chicken with a delicious sweet sauce on it. This costs around $13, but is a lot of food. For those that love dessert, they offer several types of baklava, which seem to very popular with many visitors. I can’t eat nuts, so I never get to try them, but the rest of the food is very delicious. My only warning to you is that they are closed on Sunday so later on in the day on Saturday they usually run out of a lot of food."

December 2006 — "I had heard that Tazza made really delicious hummus, so I thought I should go try it out for myself... especially because it is just down the street from my home. The restaurant is setup for deli-counter service and you can order shawarmas, appetizers, full platters, salads and desserts. We were overwhelmed by the choices and also very hungry, so we both ordered this roasted chicken platter that comes with a choice of hummus or baba ganoush, as well as salad. I got Greek Salad and hummus with it and it was so delicious! The roasted chicken was very tasty too! We also ordered a small tzatziki and six stuffed vine leaves. I admit, we had way too much food, but it was wonderful to try all these dishes and we made a very good dent in it. The owner then gave us free baklava for dessert. I will definitely go back, but I'll probably order less food next time."
