March 2010 — "I have always used them for catering and loved their Sunday breakfast. The food is consistantly great, the service is the best in town and the owners are always available. The have large portions and splitting the meals is just enough for me and my girlfriends. Love, love, love the patio!! Wish they were open nights!"

July 2009 — "A friend of mine took me to lunch at the Plug Nickel last month and I have to say I was so surprised! I had no idea this restaurant was here and imagine my surprise when I learned it has been in this same location for the last 35 years! What a Gem of a place! The most beautiful outdoor patio around! We sat outside under an umbrella table and were surrounded by lush green plants and hanging flower baskets. The menu slection was fantastic and after much deliberation, I decided on the Island Chicken Salad! It was delicious! Fresh Papaya, mango and a curried chicken salad on field greens. The dressing was their own special recipe and made the salad! I hear their breakfasts are wonderful and I plan to return with my husband and try them for breakfast! I can't wait to show him! I think it will become one of our special places to dine at! And the waiters were very friendly and very attentive. It was just an ideal lunch date! "
