February 2011 — "Millos restaurant is in downtown Victoria and was easy to find. Parking was a little difficult. We couldn't find a parkade and the street parking was pretty busy. We ended up parking a few blocks away and walking. It was raining but that is what you get in the winter on the Westcoast. The restaurant was fairly busy but we had made reservations and were seated right away. We were a group of 6 and were very comfortable at a round table. Our server was very pleasant and attentive and we didn't wait long for anything. I ordered calamari to start and we all shared some hummus and pita. The calamari was not very good and was a quite tough. You can't go wrong with hummus and pita so that was as we expected. For dinner I had chicken with greek potatoes. The chicken was okay but nothing exciting. The potatoes were good. I was not overwhelmingly impressed with the food but it was okay. It was Saturday night and apparently they have belly dancers on Saturday evenings. The music wasn't so loud that we weren't able to talk and we didn't show any interest so she didn't come over to our table - which was what we wanted. We did stay for a few hours and were one of the last tables to leave. They were very gracious and told us to take our time. I might go back if I was staying downtown but would most likely look for something else. "

December 2009 — "This place was closed for a little while over the summer and fall for renovation. When we saw the new digs, we thought it looked nice, but it lost its original Greek feel. The colors are much more warmer now with red and brown hues dominating the environment. I think they used to have a skylight but that's been covered now, or maybe I didn't notice it because it was night time.
We like to come here when we get tired of eating bar and grill food. They give you free bread with oil and vinegar before your meal. I ordered the "Crete Island" cocktail which was like a martini with banana liqueur and cream. It was pretty good.I had the told Bob which is grounded beef and rice stuffed in edible leaves, with a side of potatoes and vegetables. I enjoyed the meal and usually do whenever I come here."
