March 2012 — "The dine out menu this year looked especially appetizing at Raw Bar at Hotel Arts. Upon arrival, walking through the hotel itself was like walking to a modern contemporary outing. I imagine this would be a really good place to take pictures and would be especially pretty during the spring/summer, when the pool is filled. Anyway, the red chairs made a bright bold statement and it was such an amazing atmosphere that I had high expectations even before putting anything in my mouth. Our server was Irish or so he had a heavy accent, but I must say, he made the t;e experience that much more enjoyable. Not the intruding server but the one that is subtle gives suggestions. On the dine out menu, it consisted of a duck roll that was really good, bursting of flavor and "omf". The way the duck was cooked to the added sauce palate that you saw on the plate was enough to open up your tastebuds. For the main, I had the steak and it was perfectly done. Not overcooked and so undercooked that it was chewy and hard to stomach. From the visual of the plate to the complimenting sides to the main, it was perfect for me. Our dessert was maybe the course that I was least impressed with but it was still favorable. I left Raw Bar feeling more that satisfied. Not too full that I couldn't move but happy and wondering when my next visit would be. If not for the good food, the nice environment for a good photography outing. "

May 2007 — "I visited the Raw Bar after hearing all great things about it. It was beautifully decorated and had a great ambiance. Wine was great but food was not up to my expectations for the cost. Nice presentation but the portions and flavor were not up to par. I was a little dissapointed after hearing how great everything there was. I can't say I will be returning."

December 2006 — " My sister and I dropped by the Raw Bar on a Saturday night for a couple of cocktails...we didn't realize what an AMAZING surprize we were in for! All of the ingredients in the cocktails are handmade by the bartenders- adds a new spin to RAW when all of your drinks are made of fresh pressed fruits!! We also didn't really realize that the Raw Bar had a full menu, as it is called a "bar" we thought it was just that. We ended up ordering some crab and fresh mango rolls that came served with the most amazing crab salad as an acompaniment...never had a side dish served with my maki before- it was GREAT! We ended up having a few sharables, all of which were a delight..amazing flavours and a new, fresh spin on asian classics. I highly recommend the raw bar for a night out- can't wait to hit it next time my sister is in town!"

October 2006 — "I went to check out the Raw Bar with a friend and overall, we were both very impressed. We were looking for a sophisticated spot to go for a couple of drinks and we were both happy with what we found. Both the crowd and the ambiance were hip yet pretty chilled, and the service was fairly good. The drinks were all delicious (if slightly pricey), there was a DJ playing some decent mixes and there was a lot of people-watching to do. My friend and I agreed that we would both definitely check it out again."
