March 2010 — "Food was excellent at La Fiesta. They have a winter special where you get 3 tapas for $25. We had 6 between the two of us for dinner and we couldn't finish it all. Servings were very generous for tapas. Highly recommend the braised lamb, shrimp with mango salsa and coconut covered calamari. Server was pleasant as was the music. Top marks."

"La Fiesta a tastebud party "

January 2010 — "The unassuming storefront of Jasper's La Fiesta is tucked in between the dominating brick and mortar of the Athabasca Hotel and the quaint Canada Post Office, but once you're inside, there's nothing reserved about the flavours served up on your plate. La Fiesta offers one of Jasper's most unique culinary experiences, offering a sample of Spanish and Mexican cuisine; even the standards found in other local restaurants are spiced up a notch. While the mains are terrific, including the cinnamon-spiced lamb shank and the massive Paella Velenciana, you wouldn't be disappointed in going tapas-style and focusing only on appies. The tequila lime mussels are savoury, the chorizo goat cheese potato cakes are crunchy and creamy and the artichoke dip is simply out of this world. The intimate room adds to the experience, and with a little help from their legendary Sangria, the Fiesta can really get going. A wonderful departure from the ordinary Rocky Mountain fare."

December 2009 — "When I left England for a ski holiday in Canada, the last thing i was expecting to find was good food. However, how wrong we were. We came across La Fiesta. We started with sangrias, a red and a white (different palates) before dinner and then finished with Mojitos..... Getting, more importantly to the food, we tried a mix of dishes, that we shared; artichoke dips, mussels, paella with a few recommended dishes off of the menu. It was as good as Madrid. HIghly recommended.... 8.5/10"
