September 2008 — "I met a couple of friends for lunch on a sunny Saturday right down on the Inner Harbour where the float planes take off from. Parking was easy with 2 metered lots right in front. You can choose the amount of hours you may require, so no need to run back plug the meter. The Blackfish Cafe seemed to be quite a popular little place. We decided to wait for a table on the outside deck which was located right next to the dock with a flower planter dividing the two. There was lots of action to view with fishermen coming in with their catch, whale watching tours and float planes coming & going. The occasional seal would even swim by. While waiting for our meal, we enjoyed a glass of wine while soaking up the sun and fresh salt air. Between the 3 of us, we ordered the Thai chicken salad, fish & chips, spicy Thai soup & chicken wrap. Meals ranged from $8-12. We all enjoyed our food. Portions were good. This restaurant proved to be busy but able to produce good food fairly quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. I would go back to this very happening place again."
