March 2012 — "Mannie's downtown has amazing greek food without the price tag being so high.
My friend took me for a bite, before a show. He said he'd been eating here for years and couldnt believe I hadn't tried it, that it was a local favorite for sure.
The servers were kind and gave us a few free samples to try while we waited.
I tried to Alfredo pasta, angel hair with mixed seafood, and a side salad. I also had a pop. It was very inexpensive!
I am always in the area doing shows, and it is a great spot to grab a quality bite to eat.
We enjoyed a dessert of baklava and icecream with nuts and honey in it.
A great way to end a great meal.
They also have a bit of a shop inside, where you can buy a number of different things to make you own traditional dishes at home.
A great little place with awesome greek food. A must try! "

"PHENOMENAL PIZZA"

January 2011 — "Manies has phenomenal pizza! I tried it last week for the first time and wondered why I hadn't tried it sooner as I had always heard such great things about it. We ordered the # 1 Special Pizza which was covered with tons of pepperoni, Italian salami, beef, mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes, onions and pineapples. We went with the large sized one which cost around 24 dollars which I felt was a decent price for the quality we received. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and offered suggestions in what she sees as being the most popular and liked items on the menu. While we waited for our pizza we shared a Greek Salad which was a good size to split between 2 people (we ordered the large). It was a nice semi quiet atmosphere that allowed for good conversation and we stayed there for almost a few hours and didn't feel rushed or as though we should leave as you sometimes do in other establishments. I am excited to try other pizzas from their menu and cant wait to return again!"

May 2010 — "I had been wanting to try Manies for quite awhile as it had come highly recommend by lots of people I know. I finally convinced my wife to go and we headed down for our anniversary dinner! It was a nice day, so we decided to sit on the patio and people watch on 17th Ave – which is always interesting and fun even on a tiny patio! We ordered pita with taziki sauce to start – yum!! So fresh and good! And then got the greek pizza! The pizza was amazing! My wife is not a pizza fan – but let me tell you – she could not get enough of this. Thick, but not greasy crust, loaded with veggies and a mixture of mozza and feta cheese on the top! Unbelievable! For desert we ordered Baklava….they were huge but not the greatest…..but the pizza did it all for me! I can’t wait to go back!"
